Bag Blog

This is a quilted bag I made for my mom a couple of years ago, with a matching coin purse! It took a really long time to quilt the double sided fabric. Also I broke several sewing needles per bag due to the thickness of the project. My mom uses it all the time, which is great, but also means it's getting worn. So I thought I'd photograph it while it still looks good! The first one I made was a brown one for me. I'll have to take a pic of that one. I also made a burgundy and cream colored one for my grandma with an Indian-type elephant print. They turn out well but are such an investment of time... I always think I'll make another one but can't quite convince myself to start. I have to come across the cutest ever coordinating fabrics before it'll be worthwhile.
